Todays day at work

Well, today was fun for me. I worked up in the Ross Lake area. I went on a little hike (6 miles or so), and was able to enjoy the scenery. Unfortunately, I didn't get to try some fishing. Guess that will need to happen next time. Here's some pics. 

Only had a couple of problems with the hike.  New boots can cause blisters if not broken in properly, and sweaty buns= chaffed buns at the end of the day!  I know- TMI, but I chuckled most of the drive home between winces.  

Just downright WRONG

Ok, I'm out at a K9 conference and I don't have much to do here after hours (cops are notorious drinkers and I'm not sure I want to hang out with a bunch of rowdy sots).  Well, I came across this from a friend on Facebook.  This goes back to my sense of humor, so watch and enjoy.  This one is actually funny I think.

Here is a link to see all of the pics we took a few weeks ago while in Roche Harbor.  It's pretty much in sequence, starting with the ferry ride and through our time playing around on the island.  Take some time and check it out.  Maybe it will tempt the family to get their butts up here and enjoy some of the incredible wonders around here.  The only thing I forgot to get a pic of is our cabin.  Oh well, I guess we'll just have to go back.

Why I like dogs

Ok, my sis in law talked about cats... this is why I think dogs are so vastly superior. I like cats (kind of), but I love dogs.

I have a horrible sense of humor

Thank you Shelli for getting me into the Failblog thing.  They have some truly awful yet hilarious things on there.  I guess as I continuously deal with the dregs of humanity I get more of a "gallows" sense of humor.  Here's a vid of how funny "candid camera" shows are done in third world countries.  It's kind of funny yet kind of shocking.  Me, I just laughed.
