Von Hanks did an incredible job filming the kid's game on Saturday. Here's a few shots of Hayden. He's #20 with green socks pulled up high. Watch and enjoy the prowess of a future hall of famer for the NFL. (LT.... are you afraid???? Scouts are you watching???)

Quick hit update

I am working midnights- It's ok- works well with the family schedule, just have to deal with a little lack of sleep. Since I'm on midnights, I'm not able to get many pics of the area llike before.

Life is interesting working without my partner- Bullet. Janeal thinks I'm bored and don't do anything now. I actually told myself when I got up here I'm not telling her much about what goes on at work. Sometimes it's better to keep the ones you love in the dark.

We've got a dog. Dudley. He's a goofy (fits in great w/ our family) Plott Hound. The kids wanted a dog desperately so Janeal sucumbed to the nagging. Now the problem, kids are LAZY. Janeal and I have to take care of him most of the time.

Life outside of work is fun. I'm helping coach Hayden's football team. I don't know all there is to know about football but it's fun. I use my "cop" voice and yell at the kids to get them moving. We'll see how the team does this year.

This is my time of the year. I love when things start to cool down and the colors change. The rain is coming and that makes it SOOOO easy to sleep during the day. And the best of all is watching football on my TV with my family.

Todays day at work

Well, today was fun for me. I worked up in the Ross Lake area. I went on a little hike (6 miles or so), and was able to enjoy the scenery. Unfortunately, I didn't get to try some fishing. Guess that will need to happen next time. Here's some pics. 

Only had a couple of problems with the hike.  New boots can cause blisters if not broken in properly, and sweaty buns= chaffed buns at the end of the day!  I know- TMI, but I chuckled most of the drive home between winces.
